Ugh I love this place but why is it's so far from me. My friend was visiting from Singapore so we decided on happy hour here! Little little place. I walked by it and had to turn around but I'm dumb haha. Service was good she had been there a bit waiting for while to get off work so they came by immediately as I sat down but unfortunately I did not google the menu prior so I needed some time to look and I always just started catching up with my friend so I really needed to study the menu. Anywho, we both ordered the Thai Tini and that was sooo good! Kind of dangerous though cus I could have a bunch of those and forget where I'm at haha. We started with papaya salad, wings, grilled calamari and boat noodles to share. it was a good amount of food and everything was so delicious. I love that the wings were the big one with the drum still attached. Really crispy and the sauce that accompanied it was great. it was like a tamarind sauce with a kick. also came with sticky rice so i had to eat the chicken with sticky rice and papaya salad. Grilled calamari was great! Not over cooked so it was nice and tender and the sauce that came with was spicy and I loved it! I was actually so excited about the boat noodles because I love the depth of the broth. The soup came with tripe, meat and meatball. Ugh I really just want to go again for boat noodles haha. Decor is really cute, and I'm glad we went the time we did because when I looked up after eating, the restaurant was full with people that had gotten off work. It wasn't as loud as I thought for how busy they were. Anyways, I am a fan and I'm definitely coming back here!
I've been here multiple times and each time has been delicious! On busy nights expect a wait and don't expect all of your food to come out at the same time. The first time I visited, some people got their food 20 minutes after the first plate went out. Not sure if that's normal. But every other time we haven't had that issue. Hot fresh food, and delicious fresh coconut. They sometimes have a seasonal or special which is fun. Although I've gotten the same thing every time I've visited. The restaurant itself has a really cool vibe.
I normally stick to Phad see ew at Thai restaurants but a friend recommended the battered chicken curry and I'm glad I went with it. The fried chicken is delicious and it combines perfectly with the curry and rice. I've had better phad see ew and pad Thai at other places, but they were still pretty good. The food took a while to arrive, but it was crowded and they seated us right away so I'm not complaining.
Went during HH. Didn't have to wait for a table. The vibe inside is cute. My party got most of the items on the HH menu. I liked the calamari most followed by wings and papaya salad. The crispy omelette with mussels is an interesting one. I usually like crispyness, but this one didn't quite hit the spot. Tried the beef tongue, and it was pretty soft and chewy. As for drinks, I tried the one with thai tea and liked it. Definitely a good spot for HH!
We visited on a Friday at around 6 PM and waited about 30-40 minutes. For drinks, we ordered the Mango Mangrove and Lao Me Lao My - both were absolutely delicious! Despite the crowd, our food arrived quickly and was very fresh. For appetizers, we had the grilled calamari and shrimp cakes, both of which were flavorful and delicious. For the main course, I had the 2-in-1 pork rice, and my fiancé had the battered chicken. The stew/sauce in the 2-in-1 dish was excellent, and the pork was very tender. The chicken was crunchy and equally delicious. This place is 100% worth the hype. The food was amazing, and the service was fast and friendly. We're looking forward to visiting again!
Got here on a Friday night and there was a long wait but we still got seated before closing. FYI last call here really means last call - including alcohol. The interior is so cute and looks like you're in Thailand at a night market. Lots of seating. Service is friendly and good. I think this was the best pad thai I've ever had. It was perfect. The spicy octopus carpaccio was also so good. But I recommend you take off all the toppings if you cannot handle crazy spice. It's that spicy. Everything was so good and the next time I'm in town, I want to go and try all the other dishes.
Came on a weekend around 4pm and this spot was busy! There was a bit of a wait but we were able to get seated with 3 people. I came here once before and had to come again and take my mom to try this spot out! Ambiance here is really nice! Love the aesthetic and they also do really cool drinks here! Service was friendly and checked in with us every once in awhile. Food: + Octopus appetizer - soo tasty and has a good kick to it. + coconut and corn salad - very refreshing and flavorful + chicken wings - crispy and so good! + Hot pot everything - love the broth! We got it with the instant noodles! + custard bread - not too sweet and a nice way to end the meal Overall, highly recommend this spot! Everything I've had here has been so good!
My friend took me here a few days ago for a weekday dinner; when you enter, you put yourself on their virtual waitlist via an iPad - and we only waited about five minutes before being called back to the seating area. There were so many cocktails to choose from - I had a hard time deciding - but ended up with a lychee-flavored drink. Similarly, their food menu is extensive, so you really can't go wrong. We then shared a pork and sticky rice appetizer and friend banana chips. Everything was delicious and the sauces that accompanied each dip were so flavorful. For our entrees, we shared pad see ew (a classic and so yummy), and a red curry dish with flank steak - the steak was cooked so so well and the curry was fragrant and delicious. Service was quick, without making us feel rushed.
Two words - flavor packed. We got the crispy rice salad and stir crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli with jasmine rice. Each one of these dishes was layered with the all the proper balancing flavors with a nice spicy kick! I got a Togo order so it was hard to tell what the service was like, but I'm excited to come try dine in in the future.
